God hears our cries in the darkness
In that moment when we feel most alone;
in that moment when all else has failed.
God hears our cries.
God places other people, other angels if you will to connect with us. Perhaps it’s something we need to
learn. Something we need to teach others. In many ways it’s both… At times the things that cause the
most grief and exactly the thing we most
need to learn about ourselves.
God allows miracles to happen.
This is done in his way and in his own time.
Our concept of time is man made.
Miracles that are granted by God are in his time;
not in man’s expectancy of time.
Miracles happen by Gods angels placing a chosen person in our path. People connecting with other
people are Gods way of placing miracles in our lives.
As humans we attempt to control our world when in actuality Gods overall plan and design will
prevail.
As people, we often times get in the way and prevent the miracle that we wish for the most.
Surrender
is such a strange concept to humans.
We live with the illusion as children of God that we are somehow have control over our lives and
destiny.
It not until we surrender these things to God and stop fighting does the miracle then start to work.
How many times as humans do we view the world around us in a negative light. The glass is half full
rather than half empty. Its too easy to think back on our life and see the bad things that have happened
or the negative things going on in our life at the present. How many times do we overlook the positive
things that happen in our life every day, every moment? We get so consumed with what did not go our
way and often forget to see the real picture, God is working a Miracle right under our nose.

What is a miracle?
I have been part of this discussion on many occasions. I have met some who just the concept of miracles rubs them
the wrong way. Many of these people have had significant changes in their lives, a God intervention if you will. They
believe that a special person was ripped from their life and cannot see or understand why. Many of us has
experienced the same.
WHY LORD? We may ask? Many times the real answer may take several years for us to really understand why. In
my own life I have experienced trauma of many kinds. I have been at deaths door, I have held the hand of others that
passed. I have sat in secure rooms with victims who cry out "Why Lord?" The answer to these questions only God
above can answer.
Many years later, I have met these same people who confessed of Miracles in many ways and forms. God was
interacting their lives in many forms. God leads humans to help other humans. Only the contact and interactions with
others can truly help us find our way when lost in the darkness.
I have asked others who have experienced massive trauma in their life and lived through it. "Do you believe in a higher
power or God?" More times that not they have no concept of who or what a God would be to them. Many of these
same people still do not believe in Miracles in any way.
One lady told me that perhaps a miracle is just the change in the way one looks at life. Is the glass half empty or half
full? Do we see only the pain and darkness from the past. Is it impossible to recognise the light that surrounded us and
kept us safe through it all?
Maybe, the miracle begins when we stop looking at the past darkness and start focusing on the light before us.
